About Me

I am a Sacramento native with a passion for writing, journalism and art. I am currently attending Sacramento City College, and am the editor-in-chief of the Express, City College’s student-run newspaper

I am passionate about writing in multiple disciplines, such as professional and creative. I love writing news and investigations that directly affects Sacramento and its citizens, as well as our local art and entertainment. Ultimately, I strive to shed light on important issues such as social and economic inequality through my stories, with a creative twist.

I love reading and writing fiction in my free time, I occasionally draw, and I tend to spend way too much time watching reruns of The Office.

I plan to obtain associate degrees in English and journalism, and then transfer to a University of California campus to pursue a bachelor’s degree.
